The sexiest graphic you’ve ever seen.

Just look at this table of elements. I mean, just look at it!

Tell your resident science teacher about, or even better just put it on the door of your toilet. Get rid of those times-tables charts, it’s time for your family to start memorising the ionisation energy of Protactinium while taking their morning constitutional.

Yep, I’m sharing Compound Interest again.

There’s actually two versions, but in the one above it contains the following data for each element:

  • Melting point in degrees celsius.
  • Boiling point in degrees celsius.
  • First ionisation energy in kilojoules per mole.
  • Atomic radius in angstroms.
  • Electronegativity (on the Pauling scale).
  • Density (in grams per centimetre cubed (g/L for gases)).

Awesome, huh?

  1. Glad you like it! Also, love the ‘morning constitutional’ line. Why stop at putting it on the back of the toilet door? I clearly need to branch out and create toilet paper from this with an element for every sheet… 🙂
